Grammar

Word Order - Modifier - Noun - Adjective - Verb - Preposition

e.g.

Prefix rule - If a prefix ends on a consonant and the word following starts with a consonant, a pitchless “u” is put between them

e.g. ke̩r- (beast) + laje̊r (emotion) = ke̩rulaje̊r (beast of emotion)

Of - The subject comes first, followed by the descriptor, forming a compound

e.g. thata̩l (Soldier) + ensåuda (Peace) = thata̩lensåuda (Soldier of Peace, or Peace Keeper)

If a consonant follows a consonant but they are the same consonant, then one gets removed

e.g. e̊nauk (Lord) + ka̩ilo̩t (Chaos) = e̊nauka̩ilo̩t (Lord of Chaos)

If a hard consonant follows a hard consonant and they are different, then a pitchless “u” is placed between them

e.g. e̊nauk (Lord) + da̩ilie̩r (Despair) = e̊naukuda̩ilie̩r (Lord of Despair)

Descriptors - In cases where Of wouldn't fit, the descriptor comes after the compound, in order of general to specific

Modifiers - Used to change the meaning of a sentence

ej = Question
li = Joy, Compassion, Happy (Modifier that changes the tone of a sentence to pleased, happy)
lu = Anger, Hate, Fury (Modifier that changes the tone of a sentence)
alj = Passion, Intensity (Modifier that changes the tone of a sentence)
ada = Sorrow, Sad, Depressive, Disappointed (Modifier that changes the tone of a sentence)
aid = Awe, Quizzical, Curious (Modifier that changes the tone of a sentence)
ud = Fearful, Worried (Modifier that changes the tone of a sentence)

(ly) - The language has both a super formal version passed on by gods that can be hard to pronounce, and a more lyrical form that was created over time by the races because of the difficulty of consistent pronunciation. Examples given in this section are the formal version

Particles: Pa and Ta - In the case of multiple nouns, there may be confusion as to what is a descriptor and what is not. Pa and Ta are used to separate these, with Pa being used for a noun being actively acted on, and Ta being used for something passive

pa = Particle, noun being actively acted on
ta = Particle, noun being passively acted on
do = End of sentence ; Invented to help lost souls with romanization as Illusorian is written in a way that doesn't use punctuation

e.g. laiso̊ntothmåit pa e̊rshti̊kshisåla kajůlpthmåit ta ji̊shti̊kasaila̩usa̩uså (running by)

The Lizonto had drank the cold water before running by the metal plant
