The world reset one day for unknown reasons. All traces of human society are gone, and only a few humans remain, locked at the age they were when the great reset happened. Magic deposits have formed, and some lucky humans appeared 40 years after the reset with wagons stuffed with supplies. 80 years after the Great Reset and folks are starting to find each other…
-All injuries and illnesses are healed, sans mental conditions
-Vision and hearing are enhanced to perfect, in some cases a bit better
-Aging has halted
-Healing has increased by a factor of four (e.g. if it takes 12 days to normally heal off an injury or new illness, it would take 3 now)
-New teeth come in every 30ish to 50ish years
-Sometimes take on some traits of races if they decide to create one (e.g. more fox like eyes and keener hearing if raising foxes, teeth becoming more permanent and the mouth almost beak like if raising crows)
Magic in this world is water soluble and somewhat magnetic. As such, it can be found in five different forms:
-Water - The most base form, magic in this state is a bit mischievous but overall your best best. Rich deposits make the water glow and defy gravity. An all purpose type of magic
-Earth - When water has gone through the earth, it creates magic deposits. This magic is a bit hard to rouse, but due to being concentrated, can prove to be useful for guiding construction
-Metal - When left in the soil long enough, magic deposits attract various metals. This magic cannot be directly interacted with, but one can smith the metal to create powerful tools and weapons
-Wood - Magic rich water gets supped up. Slow to act, this magic is useful for agriculture… if you can get it to DO anything
-Fire - Burning magic rich ores and woods releases it into a purple-ish flame. This type of magic is the most dangerous and the least likely to listen. It's a good idea to just point it in a direction and pray it goes that way until it burns out
